The specific topic our group chose to focus on is to donate used or second-hand computers to the Wa Chun School and raise enough money to set up an internet network there. We chose to do this because lots of schools around Shanghai or even China because they are unfortunate and doesnt have access to technology. Since Shanghai American School has some relations with the Wa Chun School we plan to start from there and if we are successful then we will move on to other schools around Shanghai and continue to expand our organization.

The ACCRC are trying to combat our issue by taking in old or un-wanted computers, recycling them, and then use the refurbished parts to build cheap, efficient, and environmentally-friendly refurbished computers which they then sell for cheap prices or donate them for free to schools, non-profit organizations and economically and/or phisically disabled people. They are also willing to help keep your old data safe with a number of different methods so that no one that gets your old harddrive will be able to get your private information and property.
